PAWS Animal Shelter, a division of NW Oregon Animal Alliance, takes in homeless, unwanted or abandoned animals. We specialize in caring for orphaned (newborn) animals ~big or small~ as well as providing Tender Loving Care for homeless, unwanted or abandoned animals. PAWS Animal Shelter has helped 13,968 cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, rabbits ... Depending on where the animal is rescued, the shelter requires a pull fee ranging from $165 to $200 per dog. Vet costs now can cost up to $800 or higher depending on the amount of vet care required. This includes but is not limited to spay/neuter, heart-worm treatment, standard antibiotics, health certificates at the time of travel, etc.We are located in the beautiful, lush Willamette Valley. Our Goldadors are a cross between two outstanding breeds, AKC English Cream Golden Retriever and AKC Labrador Retriever. This cross creates an amazing dog that is less prone to some of the health issues that their parent dogs can have, such as hip dysplasia and cancer.Few breeds so richly deserve their popularity as does the Labrador Retriever. When trained, the breed is obedient and amiable and tolerates the antics of children, other dogs, and other pets.
