Locate the TPMS reset button, press it down until the TPMS lights blink about three times, and then release the button. You can then start the car but wait for about 20 minutes to reset the system’s sensors. The TPMS sensors in our Acura’s have an internal battery that should last from 7 to 10 years. The battery in the TPMS is internally sealed and cannot be replaced. It is necessary that you replace the entire TPMS sensor. Normally, when one battery goes out the others are soon to follow, and it is normally cheaper to do them all at the same time.
