Its was slightly wider than the channel frame of the 300 so I welded some flat bar to it and drill new holes. its still being used by its new owner. the 3 pth should be the same since H and Ms shared a common design to mount cultivators.Today's cars and trucks have 200-250A alternators available, and dual alternator options over 350A. My semi tractor had one BIG 12V battery and a huge 100A alternator about the size of a 3-5 hp electric motor. For heavier work the H is better. For ease of use and overall being handy, the C is better. A Super C will have almost as much horsepower as an H. For 7 acres a C should do fine. ... Super H vs. M. i have a choice of buying a 1954 farmall Super H with live hydrolics or a farmall M. I am hoping to bail hay with the tractor I get. the super H costs $2850 and the M costs $2500 both tractors are located in NJ the SH is located nearer to me the M is 100 miles away and it will cost me to get it to my farm. Difference in the two Super H's may be more like $1000. This assumes good condition, straight sheet metal, no missing parts, and good mechanical condition. If a Stage 1 Super M sells for 1500-$2000, a Stage 2 would sell for 2000-$2500. Equivalent Stage 1 Super H, $1500-$2000 vs $2500-$3000 Stage 2 Super H. Only my opinion, I have not seen any ... ….

It pretty much fills an OEM Farmall H battery box. I don't think there's enough room in there for a "group 2" battery (same H and W as group 1, but 1-1/4" longer).
