The objective for a multinational corporation, or any other kind of corporation, is a specific goal that the corporation wants to attain, and it must be something that managers can measure.Successful goal attainment implies that a currently pursued goal has to be shielded from competing goals (e.g., the goal of making a phone call from the competing goal of tidying up one's messy desk).
