Posted February 20, 2013. this was fixed a week ago, Dual heat swords has 150 charge dmg higher base atk etc etc fiery jump and 1.0 fire rate same as dual skanas, they buffed it from 0.8 to 1.0. Dual skanas charge dmg does like 100 dmg and has same melee dmg as regular skana. tldr Dual Skanas weak and obsolete.

For all frames the optimal build is grabbing as many mod slots as you can while getting the skills you want to use maxed. For trinity i max all 4 skills which leaves me with 8 mod slots. Stances change the combos while in melee form (not quick melee) but the key point is that instead of costing energy, they give energy. Matching the polarity will give that weapon double the energy, different polarizations will give the same energy that the mod "costs". But overall dual heat swords are good to start with.

Cronus is pretty much the worst sword in the game by stats. If modded correctly it'll still be adequate for the level you're at, but the Heat Sword is better in every way. You still will want to level up the Cronus at some point for Mastery purposes, so keep the blueprint even if you don't build it just yet. TheOneWithSkillz.
